Mr. Spencer spent ten years at Sithe Energies, Inc., including 4 years as President of Sithe Asia Holdings Limited, and was responsible for the business development and project finance activities of Sithe throughout the Asia Pacific Region. He successfully implemented Sithe's business model in Asia, helping it to gain a reputation as one of the most successful energy developers and financiers in the Region. Mr. Spencer began his career in 1985 as an attorney in the energy project finance group at Chadbourne & Parke LLP. In 1989, he was recruited to the Prudential Capital Corporation where he served as vice president of corporate finance in the Utilities & Finance Group. Mr. Spencer was involved in over $6 billion of energy-related financings.
Mr. Spencer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duquesne University and studied at the University of Toronto. He received a law degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
Mr. Golembeski has designed power plants, managed the permitting process, procured equipment and negotiated virtually every type of project contract. His renewable energy experience also includes the management of a solar manufacturing facility and of hydroelectric facilities. From 1991-2002, Mr. Golembeski was a Vice President of Sithe Energies, Inc., one of the largest independent power producers in the United States. He served in the New York, Beijing and London offices and developed power projects in the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia and Africa.
Mr. Golembeski received a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from New York University. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from New York Maritime College and is a licensed Merchant Marine Engineer.
Mr. Williams previously held a variety of key financial positions in the US, Europe and Asia, including five years as senior vice president and chief financial officer of Sithe Asia Holdings, a pan-Asian independent power producer based in Hong Kong. Sithe Asia completed construction and acquired through acquisition nearly 2,000 gross megawatts of power plants in China, Korea, Thailand and the Philippines during his tenure. Prior to that, Mr. Williams held financial leadership positions with Pharmacia & Upjohn, Inc., a Fortune 250 drug company (now part of Pfizer Inc.), based in London and the U.S. Mr. Williams started his career as an auditor with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. (now KPMG).
Mr. Henderson joined EverPower from PSEG Energy Resources & Trade LLC where he most recently served as managing director of Energy Marketing and Origination. Prior to PSEG, Mr. Henderson was responsible for physical energy trading and fuel supply for the PSEG Power merchant generation business. Mr. Henderson also served as vice president of Energy Sales and Origination at Lehman Brothers Commodity Services in New York.
Prior to his activities in the unregulated power markets, Mr. Henderson served in various international oil trading roles for Sun Oil Trading Company and Delphi Petroleum.
Mr. Henderson received a Master of Science degree from the Northwestern University Transportation Center, a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, NY and attended the Harvard Business School Program for Management Development. |
Prior to joining EverPower, Ms. Strickland was the corporate secretary and chief of staff at U.S.Trust Corporation where she was responsible for all Board - related matters and managing the agenda for the firm’s Management Committee and other senior leadership team meetings.
In addition, she managed the U.S.Trust Corporation Foundation and the Special Services area which included events, conferences, travel and promotional items. Prior to the acquisition of U.S.Trust by The Charles Schwab Corporation , Ms. Strickland was also responsible for shareholder relations and stock option administration. She retired from U.S.Trust in 2007 after serving as corporate secretary for over 25 years. Ms. Strickland has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Skidmore College and a Masters in Public Administration from New York University. She is a former Chairman of the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals.
Following project management roles on more than a dozen wind farms across the UK in the mid to late 1990s, he moved to the position of new markets manager identifying and reviewing a range of international opportunities for RES. This led to the formation of RES Australia through the establishment of both a Greenfield project portfolio and a joint venture with a local partner.
In 2002, Mr. Shears was appointed as GB Business Development Manager responsible for RES wind strategy and building the Company's UK project portfolio to in excess of 1,000 MWs across 25 projects. From 2004 until he joined EverPower, he was Development Director of RES overseeing all projects across England and Wales. In addition to his RES activities, Mr. Shears was a major contributor to the work of the British Wind Energy Association (BWEA) over many years. He broke down barriers to wind energy deployment and lobbied for effective policy instruments. Mr. Shears was chairman of BWEA from 2005-2007, overseeing submissions to the UK Energy Review which cemented strong government backing for onshore and offshore wind. Mr. Shears earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Imperial College, London.
From 2004 to 2010, he spearheaded the development of many of EverPower’s wind farms, including the Highland and Highland North Wind Farms. Throughout his time at EverPower, Mr. Speerschneider has been involved in various industry-based organizations, including the American Wind Energy Association, the Pennsylvania Wind and Wildlife Collaborative, the Ohio Wind Working Group, the Alliance for Clean Energy New York, the Mid-Atlantic Renewable Energy Coalition, as well as other formand other groups. The work of these groups has helped to define the evolving regulatory and policy initiatives that will continue to shape the industry.
Before joining EverPower, Mr. Speerschneider worked as an analyst for natural gas markets at Cambridge Energy Research Associates, a leading energy consulting firm. Mr. Speerschneider graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Physics and a B.A. in Environmental Studies and received an M.S. in Technology & Policy and Materials Science & Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). During his time at MIT, he performed research on photovoltaic solar cells at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, Colorado. |
