Highland Wind Project: Krayn, Pennsylvania
The Highland Wind Project is located near the town of Krayn in Southwestern Pennsylvania. The project is situated on a reclaimed strip-mine and near a municipal utility. Electric transmission passes through the site and will provide a convenient point of interconnection.

• Construction of the project will require local labor and well as logistic and materials resources.
• The operation and maintenance of the project will require 2 to 4 full time employees.
• Compared to tradition power generation technologies, Phase I of the Highland Project will offset;
- CO2 emissions by nearly 400 million pounds per year
- SO2 emissions by nearly 3 million pounds per year
- NOx emissions by over 800,000 pounds per year
