| The Allegany Project is
located on more than 7,000 acres of wooded ridgeline in the Town of
Allegany, NY. The project is located in a remote area used for timber

Project Status • Site Control • Wind Resource data collection underway • Environmental review process started • Interconnection application in progress • Construction expected in early 2010 Economic and Environmental Benefits • The Allegany wind project will make payments to the County, the School District and the Town. • Construction of the project will require local labor and well as logistic and materials resources. • The operation and maintenance of the project will require 2 to 4 full time employees. • The Project will offset - CO2 emissions by nearly 400 million pounds per year - SO2 emissions by nearly 3 million pounds per year - NOx emissions by over 800,000 pounds per year |
